Peace on the Move (POTM) offers programs to empower and equip individuals and families to move from dependency to self-sufficiency. We welcome all people and are dedicated to transforming and building better lives for individuals, families, and communities through learning and action.
Our programs include:
Feed the Need Community Food Pantry
Feed the Need aims to improve the quality of life for families and individuals by providing grocery relief and food boxes. The program collaborates with hunger response agencies to promote self-sufficiency and transform lives.
Mission of Benevolence
The Mission of Benevolence provides financial aid and resources to help individuals facing unforeseen hardships. The ministry focuses on building a foundation for self-sufficiency through temporary assistance.
Commodity Supplemental Food Program
The Commodity Supplemental Food Program enhances the health of low-income seniors by providing nutritious USDA foods. Through Peace on the Move, we help supplement the diets of individuals over the age of 60.
Peace Community Teaching Garden
The Peace Community Teaching Garden educates children and youth about healthy eating, gardening, and sustainability. It offers hands-on programs that teach kids to grow fresh produce while fostering a connection to nature.
