    You can receive food by visiting the food pantry or soup kitchen when it’s open. Make sure to check each resource page to see details like address, full schedule, and requirements.

  6. Can someone deliver the food to my house?

    Delivery services are very limited and are reserved for senior citizens or those with serious medical problems. If you believe you fall into either category, let us know and we may be able to help you find options.

  7. What do I have to bring?

    Every location is different! Please review the details included on each resource to see whether you need to bring any documentation like ID or proof of address, or supplies like bags to carry the food. If you don’t see any information on the resource, you don’t have to bring anything!

    Manna Food operates at USG Lot 2, located near the front of the BSE building. They will set up in the parking lot for distribution.

    Registration & Appointments: Registration is required to receive food assistance. Please call Manna's main office at (301) 424-1130 during regular business hours (Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM - 4:00 PM) to sign up.

    • Important: Your call must be received by 12:00 PM the day before you wish to pick up food to ensure your order is ready.
    • During your call, a referral representative will ask a few simple questions:
      • Are you a Montgomery County resident?
      • Does your household income fall below the level necessary for self-sufficiency?
      • Which day and Manna distribution location is most convenient for you to pick up your food? (Manna operates multiple food distribution sites.)

    Parking Information: Participants may park in either Lot 5 or Lot 2. Please consult the USG Parking Map for detailed directions.

    Food Pickup Requirements: When picking up food, you must present a photo ID showing your current Montgomery County address, or provide another document that proves your current residency in the county.

    Rescheduling Pickups: If you are unable to pick up your food on your scheduled day, you must call Manna to reschedule your pickup.

    Manna Food distribution occurs in the upper parking lot, by the cafeteria on the side of the building.

    To receive food, you will speak with a referral representative who will ask a few questions to confirm eligibility:

    • Are you a Montgomery County resident?
    • Does your household income fall below the self-sufficiency threshold?
    • Which day and location is most convenient for your food pickup?

    To schedule a food pickup, please call Manna’s main office at (301) 424-1130. Calls are accepted Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM. You must call by 12:00 PM the day before your desired pickup date to allow time for your order to be prepared.

    When picking up food, please bring a photo ID with your current Montgomery County address or a document proving county residency.
