  • After submitting the application, you will be interviewed in-person or over the phone and you should recieve a response within 30 days. If you decide to submit your application at a local department of social services, a case manager can assist you in filling out missing information and completing an interview.

Documents that may be needed for your application include: Picture I.D., Social Security Card, Social Security award letter (if being received), Pension Letter (if being received), most recent paystubs worth a month or a letter from your employer (if you are working), most recent BG&E bill and or other utilities that you are paying right now (if you pay utilities), copy of your most recent rent bill or mortgage (if you pay any), copy of monthly pharmacy bill (a printout summary, if you pay $35.00 or more out of pocket), copy of health insurance payment (if you pay out of pocket each month), copy of medical bills and co pays already paid (invoices and or bank statements, if you pay), and a copy of Lease Agreement (if you pay).

• The food pantry is in rear of the building, in the basement.
• Closed before, on, and after major holidays.
• If there are 5 weeks in a month the 5th friday is closed

First Call 211 for help to get a referral and follow the prompt for food assistance. You can receive food twice a year. Social workers in hospitals can also help you in getting a referal.

The food distribution will be after the church service. Advised to please attend service as food is distributd after service nd might run out.

This food pantry provides groceries to those in need. Tickets are distributed at 8 am for food distribution beginning at 11 am.

Bread for the Journey Community Meal provides lunches. Open to Baltimore City residents only. Groceries are available. Clients can walk in for assistance or RSVP online.

Neighbors must be signed in by 10:45 a.m. for morning pantry distribution, and must be signed in by 2:45 p.m. for afternoon pantry distribution.
