This is an emergency food pantry that requires a referral and an appointment. To have access to any of their pop-ups, you don't need a referral, ID or financial documents, but pre-registration is required to ensure there is enough food. How To Get A Referral:
To get a referral please have the following information ready for each person in the household:
▪ First and Last Name
▪ Date of Birth
▪ Phone Number (if available)
▪ Current Address
▪ Gender
▪ Ethnicity
▪ Veteran Status
▪ Receiving Food Stamps/SNAP**
▪ Household Income**
▪ Disability (Y or N)
▪ Email Address (if available)
▪ Date of Pick Up
▪ Preferred Pantry Location and secondary location in case the primary location is at capacity.
For a week’s worth of groceries, you’ll need a referral from a professional such as a medical provider, clergy, human services agency, or a social worker.
You can receive groceries up to 12 times in a rolling calendar year.
The referral professional can add refills, and you can call us directly to use refill(s) and receive more groceries.
We serve Mecklenburg County residents and those traveling into Mecklenburg County.
We offer a variety of referral options tailored for different nutritional or health needs, such as pregnancy or chronic health conditions.
